4/19/2026 - USA's #1 Aquarium photos added.

12/2018: A new update to WDW photos is being uploaded (resorted). Theme park photos (over 29,000 of them) are now regenerated, too, and at themeparks.disneyfans.com. Disneyland photos are now at dl.disneyfans.com. I have also recovered my lost 1996-1999 Walt Disney World photos. They can be found at wdw.disneyfans.com.

Welcome to one of the oldest Disney fans sites on the internet! This site started out as a free home page at GeoPages (later known as GeoCities) in late 1995, then moved around a bit before ending up at disneyfans.com in 2000. Things went dormant in 2009, but I started updating again in 2017.

As of 2024, this site contains over 200,000 digital pictures taken at Disney and other theme parks and places. Read some old Articles; visit the Audio Gallery to download Pirates and Haunted Mansion songs; the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World, and Other Theme Parks galleries contain thousands of digital photographs; Misc. Ever notice how so many theme parks and other places state they are the "#1" in America? There are so many polls from places like USA Today that are referenced. Well, here is another one... According to whatever poll they use, the #1 aquarium for many years is ... Wonders of Wildlife in Springfield, Missouri.

This is operated by the "Walt Disney of nature attractions", Johnny Morris. He started Bass Prop Shops and is no stranger to elaborate theming. Even their restrooms are highly themed/decorated. Remember when top-dollar theme parks used to do that?

We recently drove down to Springfield, Missouri to check out the Wonders of Wildlife aquarium and museum. It is another Johnny Morris ("the Bass Pro Shops guy") attraction. The level of quality did not disappoint. They theme the soda machines. They even theme (almost all) of the restrooms. They do theming where modern Disney/etc. does not. It always surprises me that some random tourist attraction in Missouri can do things with greater attention to detail than modern theme parks. It will take me awhile to get these photos sorted as I am trying to sort them by exhibit. But, eventually, they will be added to the Misc ("Other Places") photo gallery here.

We got the band back together! Now all of the photo galleries are back under one account. It has been many years since I was able to do this, and only possible now due to some costly upgrades to the server lease. (Anyone willing to chip in a few bucks? ;)

Hopefully I can start doing some cleanup to the ancient DisneyFans.com webpages this year. That is also long overdue...
